Dot / Trash / Junk Game

Summary Overview

The Dot game is unlike any of the other games that we have designed.  This was the most requested game that was not part of the first version of the Golf Scoring Buddy. Unlike all the other games in Golf Scoring Buddy, this game requires the user to manually enter the results of each hole.  This process requires a second entry screen so that the user can enter scores and dots for each player.  The Dot Entry screen is accessed by pressing the Mode button from the Score Entry screen.  

It is simple to setup:

1) Select the participants that are playing in the game

2) Select a value for each dot

After you enter the dot count for the entire round, it will calculate who owes who automatically.

Hints and Tips

- This game should offer you the flexibility to play just about anything.

- Negative dot entries are allowed.

- A notepad has been added to the setup screen for the user to write a reminder of what trash or junk is being played.

- If you are playing team dots, remember to set the value of each dot to half the amount you are paying because the calculator will have you paying both individuals of the other team.

- This could also be used as a means to count other stats if you prefer.
